Richard Armour
Richard has been skating on and off since he was a kid. Unfortunately, his skating hasn't got much better in that time. However, his approach to governance and policy-writing has! Richard works to support the administrative arm of the KIHL and tries to keep up with the weekly stats making sure everyone's contribution, no matter how small, is recognised.

Sam Eastham
Sam first played ice hockey during a 2-day school camp in 2010, but didn't play again until 2021. Sam had the opportunity to play in Canada at the CARHA Hockey World Cup in 2023 and describes it as an amazing experience. He found KIHL when a video of Stephen Ward being sentenced at tribunal to use a mini-stick crossed his feed and knew he wanted to be involved.

Shannon Paton
Shannon's role within the KIHL is to help with coordinating players and teams to ensure each gameday is a fair, positive experience. Shannon began playing ice hockey just before 2020, after 10 years of figure skating. Since beginning ice hockey Shannon has also started officiating which she absolutely loves. Shannon's favourite part of KIHL is that it fosters a safe space and a sense of community, bringing people from various backgrounds and skill levels together for the love of the sport.

Stephen Ward
Stephen is a Muppet character created by Jim Henson and Jon Stone. He has a green body, no functional nose, and lives in a trash can. Stephen's favourite thing is trash, as evidenced by the song 'I love trash', with a running theme being his collection of seemingly useless items.

Sunny Štiglić
Sunny strapped on his first pair of skates at 11 - and over 25 years later, he's still chasing pucks and good times on the ice. A true OG of the KIHL community, he has been here since the first puck drop, and will likely stick around for quite a while...like a bad smell.

Sunny believes KIHL's real magic comes from the friendships, the passion, and the unbeatable mix of great people who offer their time and effort to make hockey more than just a game. Known for cheeky chirps, (mostly) good vibes, and always putting the team first, Sunny's the kind of guy you can go to for a laugh or just a post-game chat over a cold one.

Reinaldo Dias
Sara Brown
Sara first started watching husband, Jason (Bulles on Parade) play InLine hockey around 1995 and enjoyed the sport. From around 2022 her son, Eli (Bulles on Parade), started going to friends' birthday parties at InLine rinks and loved that, and Jason suggested they grab some ice skates and head to Oakleigh. While skating at Oakleigh, they saw the signs for KIHL and started watching the games on YouTube. Soon, both Jason and Eli were playing in KIHL and Sara joins them every week to be part of the fun. Sara loves being part of a big family where everyone is so caring and friendly. Sara has recently joined the committee and is looking forward to helping KIHL continue to grow.
Emmanuel Eftaxiadis
Emmanuel is an introverted person who started playing ice hockey in 2022. He is the kind of person who likes to be involved and will go out of his way to help out with ice hockey. In his free time, Emmanuel runs a modest group chat where he organises scrimmages or tournament teams during school holidays. Emmanuel started playing in KIHL in Winter 2025 and has enjoyed it so much that he has now joined the committee.
