Originally started by Chris Kondos in 2010 as a weekly scrimmage for players of all skill levels looking for a safe place to enjoy their hockey, the Kondos Ice Hockey League (KIHL) has gone from strength to strength and in 2023 formally grew to an official league. 

The KIHL now includes 9 teams and over 100 players, all committed to safe, fun, community-based hockey in Melbourne, Australia.
